Happy Birthday Kristian

"Oh, uh ~ mornin' guys. Watcha all up to?"

Where the celebration will take place ~ Star Wars Style.

His Birthday Card was the key to finding all of his Birthday Gifts. I was inspired by another gal who is extremely creative. So, if you visit her blog ~ I'm sorry for the copy cat post. And if you don't know who I'm talking about, then it was all my idea ;). It says: CLUE #1 Where you lay your head at night IS where a little treat you might find. {So, I'm not a poet ... whatever. It rhymed to me.} The Gift: Club Penguin for the Nintendo DS.

At first, he was not amused by Mom's handmade card. Until Dad explained to him that it was more involved.

"Hooray Hooray ~ I could hardly wait. Kristian James is finally EIGHT!"

Clue #2: Where Lily keeps her bathroom cup ~ Go take a peek. Tip: Lift the lid up. Birthday Gift #2: A Sonicare-like toothbrush.

Clue #3: In Harry Potters closet you will see .... Birthday Present Number #3! Birthday Gift #3: Lego Star Wars.

The Birthday Boy's Special Request: Butter Cupcakes with Chocolate Frosting! Something about cupcakes ~ just makes any party complete.

"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Kristian. Happy Birthday to you!"

While I was painting Star Wars with acrylics on the windows ~ I needed white paint to write: "May the force be with you." I found that Lily's oil pastel crayons are even more amazing than I knew. They will write on mirrors and windows with ease and even better .... so EASY to wash off. I love it. So I wrote on the bathroom mirror and drew a little crown for his royal heiness for the Day.

A Million little pieces. Kristian immediately takes this huge box of little pieces and begins putting the structure together. It's amazing to me. The time ... the thought ... the understanding of instruction .... so sweet.
