R-E-S-P-E-C-T

"I would like to thank the academy & to all of the people who believed in me when I was just a little peanut ...." Jim and I got an e-mail yesterday, informing us that Lily was receiving an award for Respect. I know it's not the Academy Awards yet, but we're just as proud!!!

Lily had no idea that we were even at the awards assembly.

They get an award, a special pencil & an eraser!

One of her girlfriends, Ashley, also got the respect award. Too Cute!

In my mind, I still have babies. The reality of it is ..... I don't. Kristian is eight years old and in the 2nd grade. His class consists of a 2nd/3rd grade split and he has an agenda all of his own. Usually involving a sport of some kind. This will have been the first winter we decided not to participate in basketball {sorry buddy but the NBA just isn't in the cards for us.} He has narrowed down his favorites to baseball, soccer and football ... definately keeps the entire family busy during the athletic seasons but we don't mind it a bit ~ some of our favorite outings are to his sporting events.
