It wouldn't be a proper holiday at our house; without cupcakes. Celebrate!
Awwwww ... I like to read the kids Valentine's Cards that they bring home from school. You remember Kindergarten ... so sweet, innocent. The smell of crayons, elmers glue & milk carton boxes. I loved the paperbag mailboxes that we made to hold all of the dum dums and conversation hearts. On Thursday, this is a sweet little valentine's day card that I found in Lily's box ... cute huh?
And then ... I flip it over and THIS is what was attached. The NERVE. The audacity. What was this little perv thinking?! Where is his mother? Did she put him up to this? He is SO on my list. The next time I volunteer for one-on-one read time .... he just may be reading a book on etiquette!
We really celebrate this holiday for the kids. However my husband was able to put together an unexpected gift for me. I will post a before and after photo of the chunky piece of furniture that he had unloaded into the carriage house. I had no idea. I am looking forward to repainting the 'gothic-y' vintage piece ... photos to come. I didn't expect it and it was a thoughtful gift.
Wishing you ~ Champagne wishes and caviar dreams! Happy Valentine's Day to you and your cute family.
How Sweet of your husband to give you such a nice gift :0)
