In my mind, I still have babies. The reality of it is ..... I don't. Kristian is eight years old and in the 2nd grade. His class consists of a 2nd/3rd grade split and he has an agenda all of his own. Usually involving a sport of some kind. This will have been the first winter we decided not to participate in basketball {sorry buddy but the NBA just isn't in the cards for us.} He has narrowed down his favorites to baseball, soccer and football ... definately keeps the entire family busy during the athletic seasons but we don't mind it a bit ~ some of our favorite outings are to his sporting events.
Lily Rose is my baby girl. Although she's really not a baby anymore either, age 4. Lily started Kindergarten this year & I think it was comforting for her to share the same school as her older brother. Seeing him around at recess & lunchtime was reassuring that a familiar face was nearby.
I'm a Mom, first. Just trying to find balance between work, family & self. My career, most days, might be one of the best. I am invited into homes on a daily basis and get to see how people live. I can't get enough. If it involves architecture, we're in business. If it has depth, a story, an urban country, or vintage flare, I probably like it. If it involves my family, a friend or my kids ... I'm there. And if you want to talk about the details, stats or history ... I'll see ya later!
